So peaceful you cannot help but wind down and then enjoy the comfort of the Lodge and the wonderful scenery and wildlife you are surrounded by. Most entertaining for us was watching the baby buzzard and the family of stoats. Saw two red squirrels in Brighstone Forest and Gatcombe. Worth strolling to the Countryman Pub at bottom of the drive for evening drink. All in all one of the best holidays we’ve had."
